Self-drive car ban by 2050?

Well driver, that 's your lot then! Driving will be banned from 2050 except for in "controlled environments" such as racing tracks according to an @IDTechEx report. With widespread ownership of private vehicles set to be decimated as a result, what implications are there in terms of demand for PP, polycarbonate, acrylic, and other resins commonly used in vehicles?
